God is a Miracle Worker

God works in our lives daily in miraculous ways. Even when we cannot see nor fill him he is right there. God watches over our life every second and directs us in the way he wants us to go. It is very difficult for non-believers to see believers of Christ side because they do not have God. “Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ does not have God…” stated 2 John 1:9-11.

As believers we separate our personal responsibility and spiritual expectation from each other. The reason why is because spiritual expectation is praying, fasting, and several other ritual things. We should not allow our personal responsibility to mix in with our spiritual expectation because it is our desire. If we collage those two particular categories together we will not acknowledge God the way he want us to. I know many non-believers will say, “Who is God, and why would he want you to acknowledge him?” Well, God is the creator of all things. I learned that he is astounding, miraculous, legitimate, excellent, and many more words that can go on and on. It is our duty to worship, praise and adore him because he is God.

There were many times when I have experience God’s great power. I am a witness that when we ask of him, he is willingly to answers us. My father was recently in the ICU at Baptist South for two weeks because of heart, kidney and lung failure. I was scared, nervous and anxious all at the same time and had no one to talk to. So, I prayed and asked the Lord to heal and deliver my dad and he did.

God answers us in three ways, yes, wait, I have something better. It is not difficult for believers to understand the way the Lord works. God’s ways are much more elevated then ours. Isaiah 55:8-9 states, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares theLord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” A non-believer of Christ may ask, “How do you know God works in mysterious ways?” Well, I am a firm believer of Christ and I know for a fact he is real because the bible tells me so. It is indeed a fact. “I do not doubt his wisdom. I absolutely do not think I could fully understand his ways even if He explained them to me” (Houdmann). I totally agree with Michael Houdmann because we as Christians do not understand his ways and why he does the things he do because we are not God.

In conclusion, as a believer I stand firm on the word of God. I know he is real and he works in our lives daily. If we are willing to open our hearts to receive it will not be hard to understand God. The bible tells the truth; either we believe or not because God is the truth and the light. “God is not like human” stated in Numbers 23:19. We have to be taught by the spirit not by human wisdom. That is where non-believers go wrong. Instead of thinking in the spiritual mind they think in the human set mind. Our minds cannot compare to God’s mind that is why it is so hard for non-believers to comprehend it. That is where our part as Christians to step in. We should be able to teach and explain how God is so miraculous.
